Flügger Group, one of Scandinavia’s largest suppliers of paint and decorative materials with nearly 500 stores and in‑house production and distribution, needed to unify more than six websites and serve both B2B and B2C audiences with a single, easy‑to‑manage digital platform. Their goals were faster time‑to‑market for new country sites, smoother continuous updates (avoiding big disruptive upgrades), better editorial control, and improved localization, search and personalization to support differing customer knowledge levels.

Flügger selected Optimizely Commerce Cloud (with implementation partner Kraftvaerk) and migrated several sites in under three months, delivering a single configurable platform that sped up launches, enabled regular seamless updates and strengthened campaign, personalization and search capabilities. The new setup allowed rapid feature rollouts—such as ordering colour samples during COVID—improved local product experiences, and provides a scalable foundation for further European expansion.
