Optimal Strategix Group (OSG) was engaged by a national auto service provider to address a significant challenge with customer retention, which was contributing to declining per-store revenue. The client, with a large network of hundreds of stores, aimed to understand the key drivers of customer experience and loyalty in order to penetrate higher-end transactions and increase their share of wallet.
OSG implemented a three-phase strategy using its analytics and AI-powered platform, Dynamo, which included a large pilot program. The solution identified specific drivers of retention and led to the deployment of a new customer experience management program. The results were highly impactful: pilot stores saw a 2.5% year-on-year revenue increase, while non-pilot stores saw a 2.8% decline. This performance differential resulted in a $100 million increase in revenue for the client, alongside a 1% improvement in customer experience.
