How Amobee and OpenX curate premium inventory for buyers

Amobee is a demand-side platform that helps advertisers centralize and act on omnichannel user data, but it needed a reliable way to surface premium, viewable inventory at scale and connect buyers with publisher-direct supply that aligns to clients’ KPIs. The challenge was to deliver high-quality, transparent inventory while enabling efficient bidding and protecting buyers from fraud.

OpenX addressed this by partnering with Amobee to curate supply through Private Marketplaces and multi-publisher deals (one Deal ID per package), supported by an in-house team that consults with agencies and trading desks. Combined with new viewability measurement tools, proprietary ad-scanning and a Marketplace Quality vetting process, the effort has produced more precisely matched premium deals, greater scale via the open exchange, and a safer, more transparent buying environment with improved placement for Amobee buyers.
