A OpenGov Case Study
The City of Pompano Beach wanted to better align day-to-day operations, budgeting, and performance management with its strategic goals. Using OpenGov’s budgeting and planning tools, the city’s performance team worked across departments to define goals, action items, and measures that reflect what residents want and support the city’s strategic plan.
OpenGov helped the City of Pompano Beach build balanced scorecards, shared dashboards, and real-time revenue tracking to monitor KPIs, budget-to-actuals, and year-over-year trends. As a result, the city improved accountability, identified budget gaps earlier, reduced the need for budget adjustments, and expanded adoption to 10 departments with 13 more creating scorecards, while aiming to link 75% of budget requests to strategic objectives.
