Belmont Village, a senior living organization with about 3,700 employees across 30+ communities, partnered with OnShift to gain better visibility into staffing, reduce excess overtime, and boost employee engagement and retention—challenges made more urgent by the COVID-19 pandemic. They needed a scalable software solution to streamline scheduling, communication, and workforce management across many locations.
Belmont implemented OnShift’s platform, achieving 92% adoption of the employee mobile app, using auto-approve shift requests, targeted COVID-unit scheduling, pulse surveys (OnShift Engage), and OnShift Wallet for earned-wage access. Results included 10K+ shifts filled via auto-approve in 2020, $580K accessed through OnShift Wallet (Mar–Dec 2020), 77% employee satisfaction, 85% of employees feeling supported during the pandemic, and overtime kept on budget.
