A One Identity Case Study
NICE Systems’ cloud arm, NICE Cloud Services, needed more detailed, non‑intrusive monitoring and auditability for its elevated‑security hosted environment without installing agents or disrupting support staff workflows. They also required a formal 4‑eyes authorization capability for configuration changes and wanted a point solution that would augment—but not replace—their existing privileged identity management. After evaluating multiple options, they chose One Identity’s Safeguard for Privileged Sessions.
One Identity implemented Safeguard for Privileged Sessions (trial and interoperability testing in about one month, production rollout in about two months) in NICE’s regional data centers to monitor hundreds of privileged support engineers using Linux, OSX, Windows 7 and Windows 10 clients accessing RHEL and Windows servers. The deployment delivered 4‑eyes authorization, indexed free‑text audit trails and real‑time alerts, which improved and simplified post‑change analysis and reduced the time senior engineers spend supervising contractors and junior staff—providing measurable operational benefits while remaining network‑transparent.
