Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in serving science, faced a sudden challenge when more than 70 in-person events were canceled due to COVID-19. The Analytical Instruments Group needed to reach customers worldwide quickly, build a company-owned virtual event for privacy and engagement, and launch it in just six weeks — resulting in the Reveal 2020 initiative.

Thermo Fisher used the ON24 Digital Experience Platform (Webcast Elite and Virtual Conference), trained 150 staff and produced a fully branded, immersive program of 36 live webinars over six days (plus repeats). The series drove 9,507 registrations, 3,800 attendees, 4,669 virtual booth visits and 472 chats, and helped the company exceed MQL targets by 150% and SQL targets by 200%, establishing a scalable channel for future hybrid events.
