Oracle’s Public Sector group, which runs the annual Federal Forum in Washington, D.C., needed a way to reach larger and more geographically dispersed government, education and healthcare audiences without the expense and logistics of touring live events. Unable to take the in-person forum “on the road,” the team sought a trusted digital platform to extend event reach, preserve the attendee experience and keep engagement high even when travel or weather disrupted live plans.
Using ON24’s Virtual Briefing Center and Virtual Show, Oracle launched a Public Sector Virtual Resource Center and a one-day Virtual Summit that repurposed Federal Forum content, hosted partner exhibits, and offered live and on-demand webcasts. The event exceeded expectations—nearly 1,000 registrants (vs. a 750 goal), 350+ non-Oracle attendees, 10 partner exhibitors (double forecast), and strong post-event engagement (1,710 webcasts viewed, 409 downloads and 98 chats in the month after). The platform created an ongoing online community, simplified international re-use of content, and met the group’s awareness and engagement objectives.
