OPM Presidential Management Fellows Virtual Job Fair

Intelligent Technologies Labs (ITL) was engaged by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management to replace a traditional in-person Presidential Management Fellows job fair with a virtual event. The challenge was to build a polished, convenient online experience for more than 60 government agencies and highly qualified finalists on a tight schedule while making the recruiting process more effective for top college and graduate candidates.

Working with ON24’s Virtual Show, ITL launched a fully featured virtual job fair with agency booths, chat and resume exchange, and a central resource library. The 30-day effort attracted over 420 attendees, earned a 90% approval rating, reduced travel and time costs, and allowed agencies and candidates to engage more efficiently; the environment was kept open after the event and stakeholders plan future virtual recruiting.
