Michael j. Fox foundation brings patients and researchers together through webinars

The Michael J. Fox Foundation, a nonprofit leader in Parkinson’s research and advocacy, needed a simple, scalable way to deliver a constant stream of content—patient stories, clinical updates, research findings and trial recruitment—to patients, clinicians, researchers and donors. The foundation’s challenge was to provide up‑to‑date resources, encourage clinical trial participation and engage diverse audiences across devices while remaining easy to use for people with Parkinson’s.

The foundation adopted the ON24 Engagement Platform to run a monthly Third Thursdays webinar series, turning live events into on‑demand content, embedding resources and using polls, Q&A and analytics to tailor outreach. The program added 4,900 new contacts, boosted average webinar audience size by 55% through on‑demand delivery, typically draws about 900 live and 500 on‑demand attendees, and earned a 98% recommendation rate—while expanding researcher engagement and promoting clinical trial participation.
