CA Technologies - Customer Case Study

CA Technologies, a global IT management software leader, faced a challenge: how to extend the reach of its in-person CA World conference to customers who couldn’t travel and to a worldwide mainframe community. To serve that broader audience and maintain the event’s interactivity, CA needed a scalable hybrid approach that replicated the content, networking and trade-show experience online.

Working with ON24, CA launched May Mainframe Madness, a month‑long virtual conference that simulcast key sessions, delivered more than 150 video keynotes, sessions and demos, and included a virtual exhibition (20 partner booths), networking lounge, job resource center and the premiere of the “Big Iron” documentary. The event drew thousands of attendees from 49 countries (over 35,000 visits), averaged 270 minutes per visit, generated 30,000+ documentary views, drove strong social buzz and delivered high engagement and increased post-event ROI.
