Assurant Employee Benefits, part of Fortune 500 company Assurant, is a major U.S. marketer of employer- and employee-paid benefits sold through a nationwide broker network. Because products and regulations change frequently, Assurant must keep broker partners current through regular training, but traditional in-person sessions at its Kansas City headquarters were time-consuming and costly for service leaders. To address this, Assurant piloted a virtual broker training event with one of its largest partners, Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA).

Assurant used the ON24 Virtual Event Platform to deliver the two-day One MMA Virtual Employee Benefits Program—five webinars per day (simu-live and on demand) plus a virtual exhibit hall covering underwriting, exchanges, population health, compliance and more. The event attracted 313 registrants and 228 live attendees, with additional on-demand access, and delivered greater reach, cost-efficiency and a strong learning experience; ON24’s support and the platform’s ease of use helped ensure a smooth production and informed planning for future events.
