AARP, the nation’s largest nonprofit advocating for people 50 and older, faced surging demand and misinformation around Medicare and the Affordable Care Act and needed a more scalable, flexible way to educate its 37–38 million audience. Its legacy webcasting provider couldn’t handle the volume or engagement required, so AARP sought a platform that could deliver timely, reliable educational content to a national audience.
Using the ON24 platform for on-demand experiences, integrated marketing, interactive engagement tools, viewer customization and analytics, AARP substantially increased reach and engagement. Results included 13,840 registrants for one webcast and 8,768 for another, a top-webinar registration conversion increase of +50%, and registrant-to-attendee conversion rates approaching 60%—plus thousands of on-demand viewers and an award for virtual attendee engagement.
