East-West Transport, a FedEx Ground contractor founded in 2015 and based in Las Vegas, needed an affordable, scalable telematics solution to meet FedEx and federal Hours of Service/ELD requirements while positioning the business for growth. RMJ and Omnitracs delivered Omnitracs Intelligent Vehicle Gateways (ELDs), GPS tracking, diagnostics and Critical Event Video cameras, giving East‑West real‑time location and HOS reporting, vehicle health monitoring, flexible camera subscriptions, and video for training and claims defense. The solution improved planning and maintenance, ensured compliance, reduced liability, and provided a dependable, scalable foundation as the fleet expanded to 25 trucks and multiple dispatch centers.
