A Omnitracs Case Study
Fraley & Schilling, a family-owned trucking company founded in 1955, needed to modernize its fleet to stay ahead of electronic logging requirements and improve driver experience. The company’s legacy telematics had a cumbersome layout and inefficient keyboard, and leadership sought a single, unified platform to simplify app access, gain driver buy-in, and boost safety and efficiency.
Fraley & Schilling deployed Omnitracs’ Intelligent Vehicle Gateway (IVG) with hands-on support and training during a 50-driver pilot; the compact, easy-to-install unit delivered a unified interface, improved keyboard and voice controls, and better app access. All 50 drivers preferred the IVG, which freed up storage space, sped operations, expanded useful app usage, and smoothed compliance and fleet productivity.
