Oktana developed the Salesforce IoT Connected Device Solution to address a challenge for Salesforce. Administrators required a way to connect existing field devices and manage the massive quantities of data efficiently within Salesforce.

The solution Oktana implemented was an app that creates a real-time link between a client's IoT platform, like AWS or Google Cloud, and their Salesforce dashboard. Built with Apex and Lightning Web Components, it acts as an intuitive data replicator. This allowed administrators to map JSON data to Salesforce fields easily. The result was that Oktana empowered businesses to harness IoT data to predict customer needs and create proactive, personalized experiences, significantly accelerating Salesforce adoption within the IoT community.
