Sephora, the global omnichannel beauty retailer, needed a better way to centralize HR information after using three siloed HR management systems across 36 countries. As it moved to a single HR platform, SAP SuccessFactors, Sephora turned to Okta to help validate team member identity and streamline access to business applications.

Working with Okta and partner Lyvoc, Sephora implemented an identity-driven workflow that automates account creation and removal through the HR system. The result was 36,000 Okta accounts implemented in 36 countries within 6 months, with 102 applications SSO-enabled and MFA-protected, and 88% of applications already pre-integrated with Lifecycle Management, saving about a year of work while reducing risk and improving efficiency.
