MetroHealth, the Cleveland-based health system, wanted a better way to understand patient needs and build a strong community panel for feedback. What started as an in-house effort to recruit, survey, and analyze patient input became a time-consuming manual process across multiple sites, limiting how many studies the team could run and making it difficult to sustain enthusiasm. MetroHealth turned to NRC Health’s Community Insights and Real-time Feedback solutions to help scale its patient-engagement efforts.
With NRC Health’s Community Insights, MetroHealth automated patient recruitment, improved study targeting, and simplified survey deployment and analysis. The result was a rapid expansion of its patient panel—from about 1,800 patients over 36 months with internal resources to 1,800 recruited in just one month, growing to more than 4,000 after four additional months. MetroHealth also doubled its study output, saved over $80,000 per year, and increased monthly patient recruitment to about 1,000 on average, while generating stronger survey response volumes and more credible data.
