A NRC Health Case Study
Entira Family Clinics, an independent family medicine group in St. Paul, Minnesota, needed to improve patient-centered care—especially how well providers communicate, listen, and spend enough time with patients across its busy neighborhood clinics. To support those goals, the organization worked with NRC Health and used CG-CAHPS patient experience data to identify strengths and opportunities in communication, access, and overall care delivery.
With NRC Health’s patient-experience insights as a guide, Entira implemented team-based workflows, cross-trained clinical assistants, standardized intake and rooming processes, fast-track scheduling for common acute conditions, and stronger use of patient portal “web encounters.” These changes helped the clinic improve communication, timely access, and satisfaction while keeping care efficient and lower-cost; the Vadnais Heights clinic was recognized as a high performer in CG-CAHPS communication measures, and Entira reported being among Minnesota’s top performers on many quality metrics.
