From Crotonville to Digital, Upskilling GE's Global Workforce

General Electric (GE), a global digital industrial company with 285,000 employees, needed to scale its famed Crotonville leadership training so more of its largely international workforce could access high-quality development. To digitize that classroom experience and reach employees who couldn’t attend in person, GE launched the BrilliantYOU online learning marketplace and selected NovoEd’s collaborative learning/learning delivery platform to recreate experiential, social, and team-based learning at scale.

Using NovoEd, GE delivered 40+ courses (mixing GE content and partner programs) and scaled the program to reach thousands of learners each week, reporting a significant increase in engagement and overwhelmingly positive feedback. NovoEd’s platform enabled peer collaboration, practice-based activities, and analytics to track participation, helping GE extend Crotonville’s impact globally and improve access to leadership development.
