CEMEX, a global building materials company, needed to scale its CEMEX University learning program from a 1,000-person, in‑person instructor-led model to a digitally enabled, global learning ecosystem that would build agility and digital skills across tens of thousands of employees. To meet requirements for engaging, mobile, self‑paced courses with community and analytics features, CEMEX selected NovoEd and its Learning Delivery Platform.
Using the NovoEd platform and authoring tools, CEMEX launched five academies and more than 15 digital learning experiences, scaling the program to over 13,000 learners (up from a 1,000-learner ILT) and democratizing learning across the organization. NovoEd’s learner-focused UX and collaboration capabilities enabled efficient course creation, stronger learning communities, and measurable reach and engagement as CEMEX continues its digital transformation.
