Darden Teaches Design Thinking on NovoEd

Darden School of Business needed to scale its Design Thinking curriculum online while preserving the collaborative, mentorship-driven environment that teaches innovation as a skill. To deliver an eight-week, project-based course and maintain team workspaces, peer feedback, and mentor guidance, Darden turned to NovoEd’s collaborative learning platform.

NovoEd enabled Darden to run a structured course around 15 Design Thinking principles with videos, real-world assignments, mentor support, and peer review; the program produced 540 assignments, 1,053 forum posts, and saw over 95% of participants say they would recommend the course, showing strong engagement and measurable learning impact.
