CEMEX, a global building materials company with 42,000 employees in 50 countries, tackled unconscious bias and the microaggressions that can undermine inclusion. Using NovoEd’s Unconscious Bias Use Case Pack (DEI), CEMEX enrolled 996 learners to move beyond single reflections and practice simple daily "micro behaviors" to reduce implicit bias.
NovoEd implemented a Week of Awareness with daily prompts (e.g., recognizing snap judgments, short mindfulness exercises, and connecting across differences), supported by video content and an executive message. The program drove strong engagement—up to 90.9% content viewership, 500+ comments and an average of 2.5 learner-received comments—demonstrating measurable peer interaction and increased awareness via NovoEd’s platform.
