Levels makes institutional knowledge discoverable with Notion

Levels, a health tracking company that uses biowearables, needed a better way to manage institutional knowledge as a remote-first team. Without in-person onboarding or easy face-to-face communication, information was getting stuck in employees’ heads and scattered across private docs, making it harder for new hires and teammates to stay aligned.

Using Notion, Levels built a master onboarding checklist, centralized project and meeting notes in shared databases, and created structured docs with templates, ownership fields, and feedback sections. The result was a searchable, living knowledge base that improved onboarding, reduced duplicate work, and made company knowledge more transparent, with clear permission levels for internal and public sharing.
