A Notion Case Study
Lattice, a company that helps organizations improve performance management, faced the challenge of scaling processes and preserving institutional knowledge as the team grew from about 10 to 100+ employees. To avoid information silos and speed new-hire ramp-up, Lattice adopted Notion (using Notion pages, templates and databases) as the central place for onboarding, team docs, and shared policies.
Using Notion, Lattice built a duplicable personalized onboarding checklist, a central homepage and department directory, and a templated design-project database so teams could document work and collect feedback consistently. Notion’s workspace reduced ad‑hoc information requests to individual gatekeepers, accelerated onboarding, preserved institutional memory, and increased transparency and collaboration across Sales, Product, People and other teams — enabling Lattice to scale rapidly while keeping knowledge accessible.
