A Notion Case Study
Boxed, an online retailer of household goods sold in bulk, needed a scalable way to capture processes, onboard staff, and keep documentation current across a fast‑growing operations and engineering organization. To solve that challenge, Boxed implemented Notion’s wiki to centralize knowledge, make content easy for anyone to create or edit, and remove bottlenecks around who can update company documentation.
Notion delivered an intuitive, nestable sidebar, drag‑and‑drop pages, inline checklists and collaboration features so pages can be built “in minutes” and onboarding actions can be copied and customized for each hire. The result was a living, companywide knowledge base that improved alignment and speed, made onboarding repeatable and faster, and provided a single source of truth for org structure, OKRs and processes as Boxed scaled.
