Air France, the global airline, wanted to make its Facebook ads more relatable and stand out in a crowded social media environment. To do that, the airline partnered with **Nosto** and used its user-generated content capabilities to diversify visuals, replacing branded stock imagery with real, destination-based photos for ad testing.
**Nosto** helped Air France curate, rights-manage, and display UGC across Facebook ads using A/B tests for six destinations. Over nine months, the UGC ads outperformed stock photos on every key metric, delivering a **4% higher CTR**, **1% higher CVR**, **3% lower CPC**, and **9% lower CPA**; in a later flash-sale test, results improved even further with **11% higher CTR**, **21% lower CPC**, and **2% lower CPA**.
