Travel the Way U Want: How Uniworld Powers Personalized Travel with User-Generated Content

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection wanted a more authentic way to showcase its luxury travel experiences and needed enough compelling content to support marketing across social, web, email, ads, and print. The company partnered with Nosto’s Stackla product/service to source and manage user-generated content, helping it replace stock imagery with real traveler photos and stories.

With Nosto, Uniworld built UGC galleries, community pages, shoppable homepage and trip-page tiles, and rights-managed email and advertising campaigns. The results included over 50,000 UGC photos sourced, 360,000 impressions and 99,000 interactions from homepage UGC images in Q1 2019, plus higher click-throughs, stronger engagement, more immediate bookings, and significant cost reductions from moving away from expensive photoshoots and print-first creative.
