Smythson of Bond Street, the British luxury leather goods and stationery retailer, wanted to deliver a more personalized online shopping experience while preserving its white-glove brand image. Before working with Nosto, its product recommendations were limited by Magento, and the company was looking for a better way to improve personalization and ecommerce performance.
Nosto implemented Product Recommendations on Smythson’s product detail pages and cart page, along with personalized cart abandonment pop-ups. This multi-page strategy helped drive a 31% increase in conversion rate and a 13% increase in average order value, leading Smythson to reimplement Nosto’s Product Recommendations after finding native Commerce Cloud recommendations too limited.
