Scarosso is a young Italian luxury shoe and accessories label founded in 2010 that has become a market leader in high-quality, Italian-made footwear at accessible prices. The company was spending significant time manually selecting complementary products and managing recommendations during stock outages, which limited efficiency and personalization.

Nosto provided a lightweight integration that enabled dynamic personalization across product and cart pages—adding cross-sell and category bestseller recommendations, a dual upsell on the cart, and browsing-history–driven suggestions. A/B testing showed clear gains: conversion rate improved by ~11%, revenue/AOV rose by ~15%, and clicks on recommendations more than doubled, while Scarosso gained the ability to quickly add or remove recommendations as needed.
