Melvin & Hamilton is a family-owned leather shoes and accessories brand that sells directly to customers across German, French and English storefronts. With a rapidly expanding catalogue (600+ new items a year) and markedly different customer behaviors by market, the company needed to surface the most relevant products immediately to reduce bounce rates and boost conversions.
Using Nosto’s real-time personalization, Melvin & Hamilton added category- and page-specific top lists, browsing-history recommendations, cross- and up-sells, cart recommendations, an abandoned-cart popup and triggered emails (We Miss You, Order Follow up, Abandoned Cart). The result: visitors who clicked Nosto recommendations converted 205% better and had a 5% higher AOV, time on site rose 61% and products viewed rose 221%, while abandoned-cart emails convert at 15.6% and generate $10.35 revenue per sent email.
