JOY is a fast-growing UK fashion and gift retailer with 24 stores and a strong online presence (over 250k monthly visitors). The business wanted to replicate its high level of in-store customer service online but found manual, one-size-fits-all product recommendations hard to maintain and ineffective—JOY needed an automated, personalized recommendation system that updated in real time and was easy to optimize.

Customers who clicked Nosto recommendations converted 156% better and had a 25% higher average order value, viewed 3.3× more products, and generated about 11% of online revenue; search recommendation users converted 3.3× more and were 3.5× more valuable, while abandoned-cart emails saw ~49% open rates and >25% CTR.
