How Red Carnation Hotels Powers Social Ads and Web Experiences with Authentic Guest Content

Red Carnation Hotels, a family-owned collection of luxury boutique hotels, needed a better way to capture and use the authentic guest moments being shared on social media to improve bookings and strengthen its web and social presence. By working with Nosto, using a Stackla-powered UGC strategy, the hotel group aimed to turn real guest and employee content into more effective marketing across multiple channels.

Nosto helped Red Carnation Hotels source and manage authentic user-generated content for social ads, homepage galleries, and feature videos, with rights cleared for over 1,240 images and a library of more than 147,230 UGC photos. The results were strong: UGC homepage content reduced bounce rate by 25%, 9 of the 15 top-engaged Instagram posts were UGC, and UGC ads delivered 38% higher click-through rates, 30% lower cost-per-click, and 36% more clicks than branded ads.
