Expedia’s #EyeWanderWin Campaign Engages Travelers & Boosts Web Performance with Authentic User-Generated Content

Expedia Singapore needed a way to run an engaging travel photo contest without sending all the activity to third-party social platforms, which would not support its SEO and on-site traffic goals. Using Nosto, Expedia was able to bridge social engagement with on-page performance by collecting authentic user-generated content directly on its website for its #EyeWanderWin campaign.

Nosto helped Expedia showcase traveler-submitted photos across campaign landing pages and blogs, building a large library of reusable UGC. The campaign generated over 4,350 photo submissions and 800 fresh quality photos from winners’ trips, while blog traffic improved by more than 34% month over month and domain links increased, strengthening Expedia’s search presence and localized content strategy.
