Busabout Goes 99% UGC to Drive Website Discovery & Bookings

Busabout, a tour operator for Millennials and Gen Z offering flexible Hop-on Hop-off trips across Europe, wanted to boost website engagement, inspire travel discovery, and grow bookings. Working with Nosto, using Stackla-powered user-generated content (UGC) tools, Busabout aimed to showcase authentic traveller experiences and strengthen awareness of its social, flexible coach network in new markets.

Nosto helped Busabout build dynamic UGC-led experiences, including an interactive Europe map and a new website where 99% of featured images were UGC, alongside product tags and call-to-action links to speed up purchase decisions. The result was stronger engagement and measurable growth: traffic to the main Hop-on Hop-off page rose 12% year over year, pageviews increased 72% in six months, average time on page grew 39%, content costs fell 65%, and direct web bookings increased 33% in the UK.
