Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Delivers UGC & Marketing Results For The #BARTableHolidays

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) wanted to increase off-peak ridership by making its BARTable marketing campaign more engaging and turning more of its riders’ social content into website and newsletter experiences. BART worked with Nosto to help curate and display user-generated content from social media, supporting the #BARTableHolidays initiative and improving how the transit agency promoted weekend travel.

With Nosto, BART dynamically featured rider photos across its campaign landing page and email newsletters, making the content more visual and interactive. The results were strong: the campaign generated 366 pieces of visual content and drove a 41% increase in web sessions, 61% more users, 60% higher pageviews, 13% more pages per session, and a 7% lift in email click-through rates, along with growth in Instagram and Facebook followers.
