How ScottMadden rolled out security integration with Entra ID

ScottMadden, a management consulting firm supporting Fortune 500 clients, needed a better way to secure employees who travel frequently and work from airports, hotels, client sites, and home offices. Its existing browser-based protection wasn’t strong enough or smooth enough for video conferencing and remote work, so the team looked for a solution that would improve encrypted access without disrupting their existing security setup. NordLayer was chosen to fit their macOS and Windows environment and integrate with their Entra ID (Azure AD) single sign-on system.

NordLayer enabled ScottMadden to roll out secure remote access across the organization without creating new user accounts, making onboarding simple for the IT team. According to the case study, the longest step was creating the Entra ID group and adding NordLayer, and the full rollout took only a few hours. The result was secure, encrypted connectivity with minimal impact on performance, better support for remote collaboration, and reporting capabilities that helped ScottMadden verify policy compliance and support third-party audits.
