City of Helsinki boosts land lease service satisfaction to 4.7/5 with Nordcloud

The City of Helsinki faced challenges with its fragmented and non-cloud-native land lease system, which was managed across three separate codebases. This made it difficult to release changes quickly and maintain reliability. Nordcloud was brought in to unify the system and modernize it on Azure.

Nordcloud merged the three codebases into a single trunk and migrated the application to the City's Azure-based Platta platform with Red Hat OpenShift. This provided a modern, scalable environment and unified development and maintenance under one team. The results included faster issue resolution, stronger security with integrated antivirus scanning, and a service that internal users rated 4.7/5 in a satisfaction survey.
