The Stephen J. Wampler Foundation operates Camp Wamp to provide life‑changing experiences for children with physical disabilities and set a goal to sponsor 125 campers for summer 2018. To meet that target the foundation needed to raise donations, recruit volunteers and staff, and build brand awareness — a challenge requiring more efficient, targeted outreach to corporate sponsors, grantors and individual donors.

As acting freelance CMO the team implemented Nimble CRM — using Prospector, Signals and Group Messaging plus tagging, templates and PieSync integrations — to discover contact details, segment audiences and run targeted outreach. The result was streamlined prospecting, better organized data, stronger engagement and new corporate relationships (e.g., Chevron, ESET, SAP, Microsoft), generating more opportunities for donations, volunteers, staff and camper recruitment.
