Skyline Boston, a provider of lightweight tradeshow exhibit solutions for more than 25 years, needed to replace its aging GoldMine CRM. The legacy system was used mainly as an electronic rolodex, couldn’t sync reliably, lacked modern sales and conversation tracking, and wasn’t compatible with newer systems like Windows 7 — so the team sought an affordable, cloud-hosted solution that everyone could use.
Through the Nimble partner program and reseller Harvest Solutions, Skyline migrated over 4,000 contacts and trained eight users on Nimble’s social CRM. Nimble centralized social notifications, contacts, calendars, tasks and custom fields in one cloud platform, improving transparency and internal communication. As a result Skyline increased social-driven sales and team productivity — even closing a deal from LinkedIn — while gaining a CRM the whole team actually uses.
