A NICE Systems Case Study
Nichols College, a private, career-focused business school, needed a way to teach automation, build marketable tech skills, optimize operations, and extend community service. The college wanted hands‑on, scalable training that would produce job-ready graduates while reducing time-consuming, error-prone manual work across campus functions.
Partnering with NICE, Nichols launched the Center for Intelligent Process Automation (CIPA) using NICE Automation Studio, RPA and NEVA Assist to train “citizen developers” and deploy student-built automations in areas like the call center, admissions, course management and scholarships. The initiative delivered measurable time savings (e.g., 15–50+ hours per workflow), increased accuracy, improved security and reporting, higher student/faculty satisfaction, and real-world experience that boosts graduate employability.
