NICE Systems partnered with the City of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to improve public safety by integrating video surveillance with 9-1-1 call taking. Bethlehem’s challenge was staffing and effectively monitoring live camera feeds and consolidating video, CAD entries, telephony, audio and radio so telecommunicators could assess unfolding incidents in real time and create complete, reliable records.

NICE deployed solutions including NICE Inform, NiceLog, the NICE Screen Encoder and NiceVision to continuously capture and synchronize screen video, CAD activity and dispatch audio into a single replayable timeline. The result: faster, more accurate incident response, higher crime‑solving rates (including evidence that helped resolve a series of robberies), stronger prosecution through synchronized multimedia files, and improved training and QA using real incident recordings.
