An Indian State Enables Efficient Administration During COVID-19 with Newgen's e-Gov Suite

Newgen Software implemented its e-Gov suite (BPM and ECM) for an Indian state that, during the COVID-19 outbreak, had to rapidly shift to remote administration across 24 districts while coordinating with 20 state agencies and multiple departments. The government needed to digitize physical files, preserve information security and integrity, and enable seamless remote collaboration for officials.

Newgen quickly deployed a digital infrastructure that digitized records, provided electronic access to 35 departments and 20,000 users, and enforced role-based access controls. This enabled e-file and correspondence management, RTI and grievance handling, knowledge and meetings management, circulars and court case workflows—allowing the state to continue secure, efficient administrative services during the pandemic.
