StatusPage.io Gains a Foothold in the Market by Partnering with New Relic

StatusPage.io is a San Francisco–based SaaS startup (launched 2013, five employees) that provides hosted, brand-compliant status pages. Early customers asked to surface real-time application metrics—throughput, error rate, response time—on those pages, and StatusPage needed a way to add that capability quickly while building credibility as a new entrant and reducing support load.

StatusPage joined New Relic Connect and used New Relic’s API to link services in just a few hours; customers enable the integration by entering an API key and selecting metrics to display as real-time sparklines. The integration can be activated in minutes, and it cut inbound support tickets, improved transparency (reducing churn), supported mission-critical uptime for StatusPage itself, and gave the startup valuable credibility in the market.
