Case Study: Sportamore achieves reliable site performance and confident continuous deployments with New Relic

A New Relic Case Study

Preview of the Sportamore Case Study

Sportamore Scores with Nordic Outdoor and Training Enthusiasts Thanks to New Relic

Sportamore is the leading Nordic online retailer for sporting goods, founded in 2009 and built entirely around fast, choice-driven e‑commerce (including three‑hour delivery in major cities). With no physical stores and a highly iterative development model, the company needed reliable, real‑time visibility into application and customer‑facing performance across its entire stack to detect issues quickly and handle traffic spikes during major events.

Sportamore implemented New Relic APM and Browser to monitor servers, apps, databases and mobile experiences, using alerts, deep diagnostics, deployment tracking and shared dashboards. The tools gave the team immediate notifications and confidence to deploy several times a day, enabled rapid scaling during a Black Friday peak that was four times larger than previous traffic, and provided business stakeholders with performance insights to support personalization and continued innovation.
