Case Study: Scripps Networks achieves rapid cloud migration and dramatically faster service delivery with New Relic

A New Relic Case Study

Preview of the Scripps Networks Case Study

Scripps Networks Interactive Keeps the Digital Content Flowing

Scripps Networks Interactive, the media company behind brands like HGTV and Food Network, needed to reliably deliver digital content to millions of monthly visitors while migrating from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud. Frequent, rapidly spreading performance issues and a sprawling set of 50–100 monitoring tools made it hard to diagnose memory leaks, code problems, and ensure application performance before, during, and after the move to AWS.

Scripps consolidated monitoring with New Relic (APM, Insights, Infrastructure, Synthetics, Mobile), instrumenting stacks for consistent, single-pane visibility across multi-cloud environments. The change cut delivery times from 4–6 weeks to about 15–20 minutes, streamlined troubleshooting, improved video and mobile performance monitoring, enabled automated alerts (including for third-party SLAs), and supported serverless and multi-cloud strategies.
