Apperian is a leading mobile application management and enterprise app store platform that securely delivers critical apps to employees and extended workforces for customers such as NVIDIA and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Supporting a large, distributed user base, Apperian struggled to pinpoint performance problems or provide customer-required uptime and usage reports because it lacked a comprehensive application performance monitoring solution.
Apperian deployed New Relic across production and QA—using APM, Browser, Platform, and New Relic Mobile—and began reselling New Relic Mobile to customers. The integrated monitoring gave end-to-end visibility, enabled much faster identification and resolution of issues (for example, a silent two-minute timeout was diagnosed and fixed in 30 minutes), and provided cross-team insights for operations, QA, engineering, marketing, and sales, improving app performance and the end-user experience.
