Infiniti Migrates Public Sector Client to Amazon Web Services

Infiniti Consulting Group, a Sacramento-based IT and cloud services firm serving nearly 100 public-sector clients, was tasked with migrating a major higher-education admissions gateway—used by millions of students—to a consolidated AWS cloud environment. The move required converging multiple data centers and production environments while ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and consistent performance during peak application deadlines, so Infiniti needed deep, real-time visibility to meet strict service levels.

Infiniti deployed New Relic across multiple AWS accounts and environments (APM, Infrastructure, Browser, Synthetics, Insights) to provide proactive alerts, code-level diagnostics, real-time KPIs, and synthetic monitoring of dozens of sites. The result was faster detection and resolution of issues before users were affected, improved capacity planning, transparent performance dashboards for client and provider, maintained SLAs during peak periods, and adoption of New Relic as a standard part of Infiniti’s cloud offering for other public‑sector clients.
