A New Relic Case Study
Yodle, a New York–based SaaS company serving more than 50,000 small-business customers, migrated to a cloud and container-based microservices architecture to speed innovation. That shift created complexity—over 200 microservices, up to 400 deployments per month and increased developer ownership—so the company needed easy, self-service visibility into production to protect customers while maintaining release velocity.
Yodle deployed New Relic (APM, Insights, Browser, Synthetics) to power synthetic checks, real-time dashboards and a three-stage canary pipeline (isolated, partial, full) that enables rapid detection and rollback. The result: safer continuous delivery, sustained developer autonomy, around 400 monthly deployments, improved code quality and customer satisfaction, and no need to build an expensive in-house monitoring solution.
