DNN (formerly DotNetNuke) is a provider of CMS and community solutions used by 750,000+ websites, and its Evoq products power customer sites, a public corporate site and an online store. Because speed and reliability directly affect customer satisfaction and revenue, DNN needed deeper, process-level visibility across on‑premises and Azure cloud environments—something their existing monitoring (e.g., Nagios) couldn’t deliver.
DNN partnered with New Relic and deployed APM, Server, Browser and Platform (including SQL plugins) to gain comprehensive insight into .NET and Azure behavior. The integrated monitoring let DNN quickly pinpoint issues (such as Azure app restarts), proactively fix problems, improve performance and raise customer satisfaction, while creating a flexible partnership for ongoing optimization and future transparency.
